Doctor Simran Mathur is a successful gynaecologist who has devoted her entire life in making a name for herself. But she finds herself lonely as she ages and realizes what she has been missing during her sister’s wedding. At this point Abhimanyu steps into her life. Though being older than Abhimanyu, Simran is unable to resist him and is left with no alternatives when Abhimanyu goes and asks her hand in marriage from her parents. After a torrid romance, a wedding shrouded in ambiguity, a short-lived honeymoon, an insecure motherhood and the dramatic rise in Abhimanyu’s career, will Simran emerge a winner out of all these situations?
